Greetings!

Kalingawan is a visayan term that may translate as a hobby or the thing(s) you may do during leisure time. In here, you will find a compilation of all the pictures I have and will have. My pictures will have watermarks, while those that are from friends will not have my name on it. From time to time, I will be adding more and more pictures. So, please visit from time to time to see what's new. After all, it's free!

Okinawa, as I fondly call the picture on this page was taken when I, together with Gab and Karen, my former office mates, were goofing around Greenbelt, Makati. Why Okinawa? Because Shing, a friend and my sister's office mate, asked if this was taken in Japan! This is the very first picture that I have edited using Corel Photo-Paint.

I really hope you will enjoy your visit in my own world of images. I was about to say "photography" but I still have a long way to go. I started taking pictures when I was in college using my very first digital camera (Sony Cybershot). Just clicking here and there not minding how a great shot should be taken. Then just last year, I got my second camera as a birthday gift from my Nanay, a Canon Powershot SD600. It's already a great camera and has also served me well. I especially like it's 10-shot feature. You can customize the timer and how many shots (1 to 10) you would want it to take after 0-30 seconds. I and all of my friends love 10 shots!

Now, I have a Canon Powershot S5IS (May 2008). I bought it  as a souvenir of my previous job. It has some features like DSLR cameras (Digital Single-Lens Reflex) but can also take videos. It's really a great camera for beginners like me.

How I started? I found this wonderful group called
The Digital Photography Philippines at multiply.com. Pictures from members are uploaded everyday, which are so inspiring. Makes you appreciate nature, people, water, and a lot more! Even a single stone taken so dramatically can inspire you so much.

Please, feel free to browse and give comments and/or suggestions by clicking on komento.

Thank you. Have fun!

Good news!
Thanks to my ever so loving sponsors *^_^* I now have my own Canon EOS 450D also known as the Digital Rebel XSi . From now on, pictures added will be taken by the said unit. I am now more excited to make pictures and share them all to you. Please bear with me as I continue to explore a whole new world of images :)
